"They go the extra mile"

I stay on a regular basis here in Paihia. Alfresco' are a must visit. The menu is extensive and absolutely delightful. I normally have at least one meal here when in town. If I stay next door they are more than happy to deliver to your room. Such great service - willing to go the extra mile - hard to find especially in the cities. Staff are always attentive & friendly. One of my favourite restaurants in Paihia. Thank you so much. I will be back

"Great Staff, Great Food"                                                                                                                                       The seafood platter to share is warmly recommended. Warm and cold variations of seafood, all very tasty.
They have a "drive home" service, so if you come in walking, they can bring you home.That's great service!

"Sunrise and Great Vibes!"

My partner and I went here for breakfast considering the long weekend we were seated & served with in mins & to top it off we had our breakfast served in a timely matter. I can surely say this is Great value for money.
We also went back that afternoon for the live band the place was packed but we found us a seat with one of the locals the band set off a great vibe had everyone in the place singing.
We will defiantly be visiting Alfresco's again

“Hearty Food with Excellent Service”

Business lunch for our group of six, with all of us ordering something from the sea. The fish and oysters were lovely and fresh, the accompanying salad was clean and crisp, and the service was friendly and efficient. This place also does a great hearty breakfast and brunch....try the savoury mince on toast after a morning on the kayak; it'll restore the energy exerted

"Awesome Food, Awesome Service"

These people go above and beyond. Not only do they pick you up from where you're staying, they take you home again at the end! Brilliant idea when you want to have a few drinks. The barman is fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble, even when you mess with their menu (I'm a picky eater). We've eaten here twice already during our stay and will probably eat here again. Can't recommend this place enough!

"Lovely little spot"

This restaurant was a great little place close to our hotel. When we went for dinner the out door dining area was warm, complete with a colourful water feature to set the mood. The food was nice, an interesting and yummy selection to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast menu was also nice. A good little selection to choose from. The coffee was very nice.. A very pleasant surprise. Very much enjoyed.

"Cute little place on the outskirts with good food and excellent friendly service"

Out of season, but still buzzing, this little restaurant on the outskirts (5 minutes walk from the centre) of town serves excellent food and the service is excellent, people who are interested in your likes and dislikes. we booked on the phone and were thanked for the booking, welcomed at the door with a smile, shown to the table and treated like honoured guests. The veg soup and seafood chowder were delicious and had ample portions for a starter, I had Salmon with an asian twist and my partner had chicken cooked in a rich bacon dark jus. the owner came for a chat and even gave my partner a taste of one of the beers that they serve. on leaving they asked if we were OK getting back to our accommodation, just like family. excellent hospitality. loved it.
